Superior Drummer 3 Iron Beast Preset

This preset tries to recreate the drum tones of Iron Maiden "The Number of the Beast" album (1982).

Useful for Heavy Metal, NWOBHM, 80s metal or Hard Rock songs.

SDX used:

• Fields of Rock SDX (kick, snare, rack toms)
• Darkness SDX (floor toms, crashes, china, ride)
• Rooms of Hansa SDX (hi-hat, crashes)

I also made 9 macro controls to further customize the sound:

• Kick transient attack: transient attack on the kick
• Snare transient attack: transient attack on the snare
• Rooms bus mix comp: parallel compression level on rooms mics
• Comp make up gain: make up gain of compression on the output
• Snare reverb level: reverb level on snare
• OH reverb level: reverb level on the overheads bus
• Amb Mid reverb level: reverb level on the ambience mid bus
• Amb Ribbon reverb level: reverb level on the ambience ribbon bus
• Toms reverb level: reverb level on the toms bus
